Miley Cyrus admitted that she’s benefiting from celebrity privilege as she remains holed up in her Malibu mansion far away from the suffering some people are facing. Speaking to “Wall Street Journal” Miley admitted that she is fully aware of her A-list position which brings her a piece of mind so she doesn’t have to deal with the day-to-day problems most people face.

“I know I’m in a unique position, and my experience with this pandemic is not like most everyone else’s in my country and around the world”, Miley said. “My life has been pushed pause on, but really I have no idea what this pandemic is like… I am comfortable in my space and ability to put food on my table and [I am] financially stable, and that’s just not the story for a lot of people”, the 27-year old singer acknowledged.

Meanwhile, she does what she can, using her platform to lift spirits amid the global crisis. Although the show has seen many A-listers tune in and chat with the former Hannah Montana star, she revealed that some snobby celebs left her without response.

Miley tried to explain why some celebrities refused to talk on IG Live, saying that “it almost doesn’t feel right” because their experience doesn’t compare to people who are not privileged as them.
