Kobe Bryant’s sister Sharia Washington honored her late brother and niece Gigi with a new tattoo. It’s a black mamba in the shape of the infinity symbol, with numbers 2 and 24 in each loop. The black mamba is significant because of Kobe and Gigi, nicknamed “Mambacita”, of course, but the infinity symbol, the snake biting its tail, signifies an endless loop of life, incarnation, eternity.

She inked Kobe’s jersey number 24 and not 8 saying that the number 24 represented his evolution as a person and a player. “Physical attributes aren’t there the way they used to be, but the maturity level is greater. Marriage, kids. Start having a broader perspective being one of the older guys on the team now, as opposed to being the youngest. Things evolve”, she posted in the description.

She also remembered to give credit to the artist, Peter Barrios.
