It's time for the calmer revellers to take back the dancefloor from the orgy of body horror it's become, and Omar Souleyman's got the dance moves to do it in his “Warni Warni” video. It goes like so: Put your shoulders straight, and attach your arms to your side with the elbows bent and your hands tilted towards the sun. Now gently wave your fingers to the beat, like you're inviting some ants to a party. That's all. Omar demonstrates this and other serene moves on the wings of a space shuttle, in front of the pyramids, and other places only the power of calm dance and possibly CGI can take you. Cali Thornhill DeWitt directs; Souleyman's Four Tet-produced album Wenu Wenu is out today on Ribbon Music.
