In case you forgot about MNDR and her breakout electro-pop prism “Feed Me Diamonds,” her performance of the song on Letterman should both remind of you of the song and reinvigorate your opinion. It’s not a sound-for-sound album rendition; MNDR brings a string section to add some throat-closing, eye-brimming gravitas to the melodies and her dominating vocal performance, which is some unexpectedly powerful stuff. And aside from a weird thing with his teeth at the beginning, even Letterman behaved himself! It’s too perfect. Watch now. Feed Me Diamonds is out now.
