Being a Frightened Rabbit video, “The Woodpile” turns a simple corner store run into an examination of mortality and our inability to look away from its end. Or maybe it’s an unflinching inditement of unmopped floors. Either way, levitating Scottish indie rock is just the ticket to reconsider what it means for a life to end/for a surface to remain slippery.
