Here’s a new installment of Sigur Ros‘s “Mystery Film Experiment,” a short film containing two of the band’s songs. It stars Elle Fanning of Somewhere as a damaged ballerina and John Hawkes, who should have been Khan in the new Star Trek movie and also every bad guy in everything else ever. It’s looks beautiful, but the gravity of the images is undercut by the mawkish narration. I won’t spoil the ending, but I will say that it sets the scene for MY DAD IS A REAL BABY, STARRING PAUL REISER, A NEW SITCOM COMING TO NBC THIS FALL.
