M83‘s “Creepy Psychic Kid” trilogy concludes in the post-apocalyptic “Wait.” It features homages to 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dune, and any other movie where the protagonist either wanders around an abandoned planet and dubs themselves king, or careens through space in a crystal pyramid. There’s got to be more than a few of those.
