It’s not your average autumn day for Local Natives in their “Breakers” video. Masked men have a body, a lonely astronaut gets fed, and one of the guitarists keeps chucking himself down staircases and hills. Just ignore him, he’s doing it for attention. Adding to the dreamlike atmosphere is the abundant reversal of footage, as well as the song’s mellifluous indie pop tones.
