It’s easy to be cynical these days, because it gets dark at like 4PM and no one’s getting enough Vitamin D. Enter Montreal indie-pop group TOPS, who are going to pull you out of those winter doldrums with “Turn Your Love Around,” providing you still have some semblance of a soul. It’s shot in at a dance class for deaf children in Toronto, an occasion that’s flush with joy and spirit, and which makes the song’s youthful pop, which glows like light refracted through precious stones, sound vital, even noble.
