You know those cellphone billboards that promise a fun time with sexy people if you sign with them? Thee Oh Sees‘ “Lupine Dominus” documents one of those promised parties, if you went for the flip-phone instead of a smart one. That gets you entry to a sketchy strip club bathed in dingy pastel glow, its hallways lined with wanderers taxidermied by misery. But you will get laid, to the tune of piercing psychedelic guitars crowing like ancient birds and vocals that sound culled from Manson family scribblings.
