Halifax producer Ryan Hemsworth has dropped an imaginative animated video for the first single from his upcoming Last Words EP, “Charly Wingate.” Apparently the ocean is filled with huge Ryan Hemsworth fans, finding a gaggle of creatures appearing in the video’s thick cartoony style to tap along to the progressive beat. As the ocean rises, so does Hemsworth’s percussion, causing everyone and everything from octopi, gun wielding arms, and a weird bat-mask thing to celebrate their new musical God, because we all know that sea creatures fucking love sample-based music.
Hemsworth’s Last Words EP drops August 21 via WEDIDIT.
