Some people might equate a new Die Antwoord video with a sequel to “David After Dentist,” but the Zef pioneers are out to prove that they’re anything but a viral dalliance. They know that their initial popularity stemmed from their unhinged, vaguely menacing videos, which is why with “Baby’s On Fire,” their best video yet, they might just reinvigorate their freak fire that singed hearts across the globe.

The group returns to their native South Africa, to an apartment complex that looks like a pastel-colored Eastern European ghetto. Taking the concept of “band as family” quite literally, Ninja plays an overprotective brother to wild-child Yo Landi who just wants to court a dim-looking boy with ridiculous vehicles, and strut in the yard as they tear donuts around her. With an infectious sense of humor, incredible stunts, and surprisingly catchy rave-rap pulse, it might have you eagerly awaiting their next project. And what viral video can do that?
