asseomancy’s music belongs to another world. Some mysterious, pastoral place where fantasy and danger are synonymous, and where the sun is in a perpetual state of setting. But behind the unsettling folk (if you can call it that) are two soft-spoken twins who like Chinese masks and knitting. Romy and Sari Lightman sat down with CHARTattack prior to a recent Toronto gig supporting Austra (whom they also perform with) to discuss their songwriting and live performances.
