If you don’t like videos with beautiful colors and/or deliciously confounding electronic music, check your pulse, and if you’re not already dead, kill yourself. Everyone else, here’s the video for Nicolas Jaar’s remix of Shlohmo’s “Rained The Whole Time.”

Who really knows what effect post-dubstep has on your brain? Have you seen any charts? No? Then who knows, it might look something like the video, where colorful liquids coagulate and blister together, like amorphous slides of leaves and brains under a microscope. And to be honest, it makes sense: the rattling bass and obscure samples tug at your brain in different directions, leaving you scrambled but sedate by the song’s end.
