Guitarist and inventor Les Paul died of complications from pneumonia in White Plains, N.Y. on Thursday. Paul was 94. It's not unreasonable to say rock 'n' roll wouldn't be the same without Paul, since he built one of the first solid-body electric guitars and pioneered recording techniques like overdubbing, close miking and multitracking....
