Grandaddy are no more, but the group's mastermind is still making music that should appeal to fans of the band. The title track begins the album and is a fine piece of relatively lo-fi orchestral pop, while "It's The Weekend" is ready to rock your party. Lytle's talent isn't little.

Ex-Grandaddy Frontman Preps Solo Debut

Former Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle will release his Yours Truly, The Commuter solo debut on CD and vinyl on May 19 through Anti- Records. Lytle moved from his home in Modesto, Calif. after Grandaddy split up in 2006 and wrote and recorded Yours Truly, The Commuter in Montana. You can hear "Flying Thru Canyons" on Lytle's MySpace...
