Fake Problems — It's Great To Be Alive

Fake Problems sound like all my idols collaborated to create one awesome punk/rock/ska/reggae/country/pop/rockabilly super orgy group. Fake Problems are decked out in glow-in-the-dark paint and tape in the clip for It's Great To Be Alive's "Diamond Rings," which is also full of swashbuckling skeletons besieged by someone shooting a laser gun while someone else's mouth spurts ghost-shaped figures. I think I've found my favourite video of the year.

Pumping: Fake Problems — It's Great To Be Alive

Can we declare a fatwah on indie-rock-as-workman-rock. I don't know what these dudes look like, but I imagine them to have popped collars. And nobody with popped collars should try to sound like this.

Pumping: Fake Problems — It's Great To Be Alive

This is kind of a cross between Against Me! and ska-punk like Less Than Jake. It's also probably the best thing we've played all day.
