Gorillaz to record new track, design Converse shoes

Despite being a band of fictional cartoon characters, Gorillaz are branching out to the footwear industry.As Pitchfork points out, the band -- well, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, really -- have teamed up with Converse to create a line of Gorillaz-inspired Chuck Taylor All-Stars.
