People were spilling out into the streets in front of this intimate little spot in Toronto's Kensington Market when Aaron Riches and his rag-tag group of young troubadours began performing. The music wove through the air filled with the scent of cigarettes and the leftovers of the days fish products, typical of the market at night. Riches and his group perform his obtuse unfinished songs with innocence and forthright casualness. Reminiscent of Bob Wiseman, Riches is a creative spirit that will always command an audience.
