Pavement — Quarantine The Past: The Best Of Pavement
- Quarantine The Past: The Best Of Pavement
- Matador/Beggar's Banquet
- 5 / 5

Pavement are the latest in a long line of indie rock reunions, and release the obligatory "greatest hits" set to coincide with their spring/summer slate of festival dates and one-offs.
The brats have mouths to feed and bills to pay, so it's tough to point fingers — especially given the brilliance that the boys brought in their hey day and the fact this collection still holds up 100 per cent.
The best part about Quarantine The Past: The Best Of Pavement is that it doesn't play things safe. Pavement nestle jagged tunes such as "Mellow Jazz Docent" and "Debris Slide" alongside more well-known track like "Range Life" and "Summer Babe (Winter Version)."
The result is a best-of package that sounds uneven and rocky... kinda like a Pavement album. Mission accomplished.
