Acrassicauda — Only The Dead See The End Of The War
- Only The Dead See The End Of The War
- Vice
- 3 / 5

From behind enemy lines emerges Acrassicauda, an Iraqi heavy metal band that first came to consciousness as part of the acclaimed Heavy Metal In Baghdad documentary. In the years since, the fellas have moved Stateside and busted gears on this, their debut North American EP.
Only The Dead See The End Of The War is an understandably politically-charged effort that shreds via allegories, assumedly related to either political or personal strife — assumedly a little bit of both. It's no doubt a novelty (they sound a lot like Metallica yet they're from... the Middle East!!!), but it also rocks pretty solidly.
Sure, that makes Acrassicauda a band that people first check out as a curiosity, but give the fellas time to hone their craft into something bigger, brasher and ballsier.
