The Evaporators — Ripple Rock
- Ripple Rock
- Nardwuar/Mint
- 4 / 5

Headed by famed music reporter Nardwuar The Human Serviette, The Evaporators bring their first release since 2001. Easily Nardwuar’s most musically sound effort to date, Ripple Rock combines Nardo’s energy and persona with his encyclopedic knowledge of garage rock and impeccable musical taste (not to mention his decent organ playing).
As Nardwuar sings about topics like his addiction to cheese, his online message board and the perils of working out, the rest of the band rocks and swings like crazy, making the album funny (in a good way) and completely danceable at the same time.
Packed with extra bonuses like Nardwuar video interviews and five tracks by Thee Dublins (a surprisingly tolerable dub version of Nardwuar’s second band, Thee Goblins), Ripple Rock offers a good time, some laughs and value for your dollars. And you can’t beat that.
