It's been a prolific year for 50 Cent, with his sophomore album, The Massacre, his upcoming video game and this soundtrack to his personal 8 Mile.
Money, guns and girls are still the only items on Fiddy's menu, but this soundtrack is a more streamlined and effective record than The Massacre, focusing more on the rapper's undeniable street cred and less on abysmal love jams like "Candy Shop." There's decent support from G Unit bench players Tony Yayo and Young Buck, and the Mobb Deep-Nate Dogg collabo, "Have A Party," is the most fun track 50's lent his name to since "In Da Club."
Still, to say this trumps his earlier work is damning with the faintest praise.
