Looking to expand from their hardcore metal roots, Toronto-based pseudo-punks Protest The Hero have put forth quite the impressive sophomore disc. Making this album standout is a soaring falsetto that would make Bruce Dickinson stand up and take note, combined with primal, guttural attacks that will cause people to mistake this for screamo (they're more rock though). Kezia proves that Protest The Hero are capable of so much more thanks to the divine power and progressive fusion of punk and metal best highlighted on tracks such as "Bury The Hatchet" or scorcher "Turn The Soonest To The Sea."
