Tony Yayo is one of the only members of the 50 Cent/Eminem/G-Unit brand who has never been shot. However, he did earn a year in prison for gun possession. This almost-but-not-quite tough guy story also applies to his mediocre musical skills. Beginning with a clichéd prison-themed intro, Yayo plays the gangster card in "Homicide." Compared to 50 Cent’s contribution on "So Seductive," Yayo clearly has no charisma or rhyming skills. The album continues to deflate rapidly with a salvo of pimp-and-ho, club-hopping, shoot-'em-up formula songs. The only track that truly works is "Live By The Gun," but only because it’s classic Dr. Dre working the console.
