It would be easy to screw up Oh No, the follow-up to OK Go's alarmingly catchy 2002 debut, either by mimicking that LP's pop-rock charm completely or moving too far from it. Luckily, the band allow their sound to grow without forgetting what made the first disc fun. The guitars are even crunchier now and dominate the album, while the playful and poppy synth is ditched completely. It's not a problem though — the memorable hooks and clever songwriting live on. The group turn up their energy and rock swagger along with the amps, charging through the raucous "Crash The Party" and Cars-y "Here It Goes Again."
