Some Bigwig: "Guys, ska-punk is so 1995. We need to freshen up your sound. What do you think of Sum 41?"
Less Than Jake: "Dude, we're trying to keep it real."
Bigwig: "Keeping it real on a major is a laugh, kids."
Which brings us to Anthem, an album that all but destroys Less Than Jake's ska-influenced sound in favour of sounding like every other pop-punk band in existence. Perfect for skateboarding, underage drinking and "crashing the mall. "
