No Age — Losing Feeling
- Losing Feeling
- Sub Pop
- 4 / 5

It always felt like No Age had a lot more depth to their lo-fi noise than most of their shitgazing peers.
As with last year's fabulous Nouns, the Los Angeles-based duo continue to amaze with this new EP, showcasing a willingness to experiment alongside their emerging talent as songwriters. Losing Feeling finds the pair embracing (relatively) high-fi production values and replacing the brash fuzz-punk bombast of the past with a more ambient vibe.
While all four tracks are strong entries into the band's rapidly expanding oeuvre, closer "You're A Target" is the main attraction. It displays a My Bloody Valentine-esque ferociousness coupled with stunning beauty, is easily the best tune No Age have written and bodes well for the group's future.
