- Baptism
- Virgin/EMI
- 3 / 5

Although Lenny Kravitz's new record suggests that the sexy mf’er has taken his quasi-spiritual ways to a new musical level, Baptism isn't very pious. In fact, apart from a couple of references to things like not looking back and turning into a pillar of salt, this is still the Kravitz you know and love, even as he sings about keeping your booty in the air (ugh). More rockin' than 5, but still not at the top of his game, Baptism is the sound of a man who knows what'll make him money, even if the world around him is Sodom and Gomorrah.
