This CD/DVD double-punch really gives us the full Story Of The Year experience. Recorded live in their hometown of St. Louis, the aggressive, intelligent and catchy tunes from their previous effort Page Avenue are executed with a full, ear-satisfying sound. Their raucous mix of dissonant vocals, distorted guitars and speedy tempos, coupled with passionately singing groupies in the crowd, make this an enjoyable package to own. "And The Hero Will Drown," "Burning Years" and of course, "Anthem Of Our Dying Day" are show-stoppers.
The DVD Bassassins includes home video behind-the-scenes footage, rife with Juvi-Hall attitude and frat-boy-goodness.
