At The Drive-In — This Station Is Non-Operational

This is the last gasp from one of the greatest bands of the past decade, a hits compilation from Austin, Texas' At The Drive-In. It's also fucking great. Hearing these songs will fill you with the same excitement that they did the first time you heard them, but it will also leave you a bit remorseful.
Why aren't ATD-I still together? Why?! It's maddening when great bands break up in their prime, but it's even more infuriating when they split into a shitty prog-rock band and an even shittier pop-punk band. "Napoleon Solo" and "One-Armed Scissor" were two of the best punk songs ever written and prove that Cedric Bixler and Omar Rodriguez were once interested in making songs that clocked in at less than 30 minutes.
The disc features some unreleased songs and a couple of b-sides, none of which really help or hurt the ATD-I legacy and it comes with a sparsely packed DVD of the band's videos.
Maybe if enough people buy it, they'll get back together. I wish.
