Nine Inch Nails — With Teeth
- With Teeth
- RCA/BMG
- 3.5 / 5

The gloomy kids have had little to root for during the half-dozen years Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor spent out of the spotlight taming his vices. So it's most welcome then that Reznor's jarring industrial metal return will supplant the faux-angst of Evanesecence for at least a little while in the black, black hearts of the gothy set.
With Teeth features all the customary NIN hallmarks: the violent disco of "The Hand That Feeds" and "Only," the sloganeering "don't you fucking know what you are?!" in the like-titled "You Know What You Are?" and the mechano-funk of "Sunspots." It all leaves you with the uncomfortable sense that With Teeth was slapped together by using the cut 'n' paste function on Trent's iBook to pilfer NIN's best back catalogue moments. Still, when the alternative is Amy Lee, rewarmed Nails' tracks are infinitely preferable.
