Recording an album from behind bars can add to a gangsta rapper’s rep, but in C-Murder’s case it’s left him seriously hurting for topics. On his first album since his 2002 murder conviction, Master P's brother delivers a series of woe-is-me tales drawled over minimalist beats that sound as if they were recorded with found objects from his prison cell.
