Mayor McCa — Me Is He

If the attention-deficit Me Is He is any indication, the citizens of Hamilton are lucky that Mayor McCA only got 394 votes in his campaign to become Hamilton's Mayor. Sure, it would've been an amusing ride to have someone that mercurial as the town leader, but it's unlikely that he would've had the focus to accomplish a single thing.

Thankfully, his erratic ways are much better on record than in office. Me Is He has everything from soft love songs ("I Don't Know Why," "The Girl I Do Not Know") to "Loser"-esque grooves ("That's A Wrap") and old-time rock 'n' roll ("I'm Getting Fat").

The overall result sounds like Tom Waits, Beck and Wilco alternating between recording songs for Sesame Street and paying tribute to the Rheostatics' Nightline Sessions. It's intriguin and often entertaining as well.
