- Bigg Snoop Dogg Presents Welcome To Tha Chuuch: Da Album
- Doggystyle/KOCH
- 2 / 5

This collection of tracks from Snoop's underground mixtape series opens with one of the rap veteran's most accomplished tracks, a sober, thoughtful reflection on war called "Sisters N Brothers." Too bad it's the only tune on which Snoop takes centre stage. The rest of the record lurches uneasily from hardcore hip-hop to oversexed R&B, and while there are some winners — Tiffany Foxx's "Can't Find My Panties" is a perfect mix of funny and filthy — most of it sounds like discarded b-sides. Snoop appears to be searching for a modern, edgy version of the '70s soul he so clearly loves, but the artists he's aligned with haven't given it to him.
