- A Very Special Acoustic Christmas
- Lost Highway/Universal
- 2.5 / 5

This Christmas compilation consists of country performers, past and present — and oddly, Nora Jones. The CD works best with country rebels and old-timers, Willie Nelson and Ralph Stanley, as well as Marty Stuart's original "Even Santa Claus Gets The Blues" and Pat Green's rousing rendition of "Winter Wonderland."
Where the album fails is in its tepid covers of traditional seasonal tunes by Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson and Wynonna, as well as when it veers away from being acoustic like Alison Krauss' horrid contribution, "Only You Can Bring Me Cheer." However, with benefits going to help Special Olympics, there may be a person in your life who’d like to find this under the Christmas tree.
