- Hard-Headed Woman: A Celebration Of Wanda Jackson
- Bloodshot
- 3.5 / 5

With Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton fever running high, it's about time the alt.country types got vocal about propping up the incomparable Wanda Jackson. These Bloodshot comps have come to represent a certain level of consistency and this one is no exception: the usual (and, in this case, largely female) suspects — including Neko Case, Carolyn Mark, Kelly Hogan, Trailer Bride, Jesse Sykes and Rosie Flores — render loving renditions of Jackson's gutsy classics. It all runs a little samey by the 21st track, but there are enough feisty gems to do Jackson's legacy proud.
