Live In The Middle East captures a bare-bones medium venue rock show recorded in high colour saturation, just in case you couldn't get any magic mushrooms. Classic choonz and hot Mascis guitar licks will scratch your Dino Jr. itch, should you have one. However, the mashed-up live sound and hack 'n' slash editing get boring as the show goes on. Strangely, the crowd isn't shown until the end of the concert, so for most of the performance it looks like Dino Jr. are playing to 10 people in a closet instead of a packed hall.
