Background/ Composition:
Afie Jurvanen has a lot on his plate. When he's not in Feist or Jason Collett's backing band, he's helping Zeus with their album or working with Amy Milan, The Stills, Hayden or Great Lake Swimmers. He finally found the time to record his debut solo album, Pink Strat.
Grade: 88
Comment:
Jurvanen has definitely taken many leaflets from his colleagues' books, and that's quite alright. His sound sounds closest to Collett's, but there's some growl overtop his soft crooner voice.
