Background/ Composition:
This Guelph, Ont. band have been taking the indie Canadian scene by storm with their infectious, playful pop rock beats. Their debut album, Borders, was recently released.
Grade: 89
Comment:
The band had the 1 a.m. slot on a Thursday, but they still had a decent crowd of completely ridiculous fans with even more completely ridiculous dance moves. Green Go brought energy, skills and crowd communication, making this set a great one to see.
Achievement of Rock 'n' Roll Expectations
80-100: Exceeds skill and knowledge expectations, i.e. rocked us so hard we peed our pants.
70-79: Achieves required skills and knowledge. Meets rock 'n' roll standard.
60-69: Demonstrates some skills. Approaches rock 'n' roll standard.
50-59: Demonstrates some required skills and knowledge in a limited way.
00-50: Has not demonstrated required skills or knowledge.
Learning Skills: E=Excellent, G=Good, S=Satisfactory, N=Sad Really

Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step:
Green Go somehow managed to communicate more with the audience than to each other. They could have used the stage more, but they were almost there. Vocalists Ferenc Stenton and Jessica Tollefsen were great performers, strutting their stuff and emersing themselves in the drooling audience.

Audience Participation: E
Sound: G

Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step:
Green Go gained speed with each number, whether it was the cute "Brains For Breakfast" or the lively "Cash Money Gremlins," which Tollefsen explained was all about the gruesome pain of students by loans.
Other Skills And Areas Of Interest
Charisma: E
Problem Solving: G
Teamwork: G
Sexiness: G
Haircut: S
Indie Rock Footwear: G
Nods To Disposible Fashion: G
Cool Equipment: G
Level Of Inebriation: S
Actual Ability: E
Strengths/Weaknesses/Next Step:
Whatever they do, they need to keep the fans that they had during this set as part of a travelling circus; they provided hilarious dance moves that shouldn't exist in the real world. Green Go were able to hold their own after two strong bands and proved that they can really provide a great time. Highlights included Toffelsen letting male fans grope her face and Stenton jumping into the crowd in to the most chaotic-in-dance-moves area.
