Afraid Britney wasn't going to sell any records this year? Fear not, Brit fans — little Sean Preston Federline won't starve while his mommy's on hiatus. That's because her holiday cash grab, this remix compilation disc, isn't too shabby. And since you've already heard most of the originals more than you need to anyway, these club-ready versions — including Jacques Lu Cont's darkly inebriated "Breathe On Me," Peter Rauhofer's house-thumping "Toxic" and JUSTICE's scratchy cut-up of "Me Against The Music" — are welcome on the dancefloor. There are a few duds that sound like they were transported from a bad gay disco (you know — the kind that plays Sarah McLachlan remixes), but hell, you'd deserve to go to one if you thought this was going to be an amazing album.
