This supposed "feast on scraps" is more like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Alanis Morissette gives her fans a treat with this CD/DVD double disc extravaganza. The audio disc contains eight unreleased tracks from the Under Rug Swept sessions, a beautiful acoustic version of "Hands Clean" and access to a secret website through your CD-ROM player where additional film material awaits. The new songs aren’t just B-side throwaways — the production value is excellent and they’re all worth listening to. Highlights are "Bent For You" and "Purgatorying." The DVD features 18 live tracks filmed at a concert in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The footage is top quality and Ms. Morissette is note-perfect. The songs are also interspersed with entertaining interview material: Alanis is a giant dork and I actually adore her now. Who knew?
