Peaches — I Feel Cream

Peaches proclaims she's "gonna cut this party down to size/gonna make this party come alive/gonna go and crush it with my thighs" on the grinding synth-stomper "More." This is a pretty accurate description of what I Feel Cream can do.
I Feel Cream drops Impeach My Bush's rock and turns the filthy Euro-electro back up with production from the likes of Simian Mobile Disco and Digitalism. The sex? That hasn't gone anywhere. The 40-year-old Merrill Nisker is still show-stopping and panty-dropping and has no intention of slowing down. She even tells us to "nevermind the age" in "Show Stopper," which is easy to do with an electro album that commands a party like this.
Peaches' mostly rapped lyrics are still hilarious and clever (this time thanks to some help from fellow ex-pat Gonzales). Peaches proves dance music doesn't have to be dumb and that an "older woman" can still be a total sex machine without it feeling forced or premeditated. Madonna, take note.
