Finding a band whose musical influences include Roni Size, Portishead, StereoLab, De La Soul, Digable Planets and A Tribe Called Quest in the hip-hop section of a record store is not extremely difficult. Throw in a cover of Debbie Deb's "Lookout Weekend," featuring Esthero, and lines throughout the album like "Black Eyed Peas is like the hip-hop Fred Estaire" and you've got the latest from Black Eyed Peas. It's one of those amazing albums that will probably never get the recognition it deserves in the hip-hop community because it's not filled with swear words and threats to your mother. Well, if you motherfuckers don't buy this album I'll come after you and your whole family.
