Take notice of this band, all you anglophiles. Start the drooling process because these guys are good. These lads combine a melodic Travis pleasantry with a quirky and delicious Super Furry Animals bounce. How can that not sound like heaven? They will undeniably be cited as "the next Travis" for certain striking similarities, one of which is their damn fine ability to pen swirling sad and melodramatic love songs. Soon to be the perfect record to spin as the fall rain descends upon us, Parachutes is full of reflection, love and a hope of new and better things to come. Terrifically sad at times, and strangely uplifting at others, it's a disc worth a lot of notice.
