While Doctor brings together two experienced musicians, The Watchmen’s Danny Greaves and Change Of Heart/The Royals’ Rob Higgins, the duo’s first effort falls far short of exciting. For Greaves to escape The Watchmen’s grip he would have to create something vastly different than the Can-Rock he’s known for. His vocals are so distinct and so Watchmen, that if any sort of rock ‘n’ roll is played behind him, forgetting his past is impossible. Rob Higgins screams through choruses, but in the end it all sounds like a bad Watchmen record. High Is As High Gets does have some catchy "babas" on the brooding "Sweet U," but Doctor’s biggest two downfalls are the lack of interesting instrumentation and bland songwriting
