- 1.5 / 5

Relentless Beats Vol. 1 is what you'd typically expect Moonshine to release. Hard techno with a trancy touch and lots of it. Sadly, there's a good reason for Miss Bab's practically seamless beats: the beats are almost exactly the same. Toying with similar tempos and speeds that only vary slightly in their pitch, Babs has created a CD full of carbon copies. Her other personal touch is her "theme" of Prada heels clip-clopping an intro to the CD and clicking their soles away at the finish of the album (we'll pretend it's an original idea and that Meryn Cadell never toyed with that sound effect). The best way to listen to this album before buying it? Stop by your local Le Chateau. I imagine they'll be circulating it like mad.
