Shout Out Out Out Out — Reintegration Time

Music Review
SOOO's Reintegration Time
We all know that Shout Out Out Out Out will never be able to reproduce their stage show on disc, but it would be nice if they at least tried.

Reintegration Time is an example of the Albertan six-piece playing it safe. They don't commit any grave errors, but they don't challenge themselves or the listener either. Nik 7's vocoderized vocals definitely have the potential to annoy, but they're infrequent and subdued enough here that they're like another instrument.

The disc's most interesting song is the Cadence Weapon-fronted "Coming Home." One-man disco party San Serac drops in for a memorable cameo on "One Plus Two Plus Three." The second last track, "In The End It's Your Friends," is the first time things get noticeably danceable.

This has all been done before, but at least they do it well. Reintegration Time is for headphones or especially mellow parties.
