If you were to look at this album as an emo playbook, it would seem like a must-have for any teenager with the sideways mullet. It has everything bands like Further Seems Forever have in spades, including faux-metal guitar harmonies, screamy back-up vocals, unbearably bad, whiny melodies, depressing album art and a lame title. If you're sick of all that, you best avoid this album. Nothing Hawthorne Heights do can be considered original in any way, as this style of music was overdone two years ago. We can only hope that they and all their contemporaries fade out sooner rather than later.
