Sometimes metalheads are so focused on their hardcore posturing that they forget that music is supposed to be fun and sexy sometimes. It takes someone like Rob Zombie to remind them of that. His return to the recording studio from the director's chair isn't groundbreaking stuff, but who really wants it to be? Since his days with White Zombie, Rob has always had a knack for pumping out hard yet groovy ditties you can rock out or shake your ass to depending on your preference. Educated Horses is no different, although this time there are more real instruments — instead of drum machines and cheesy horror film samples — which give the songs a more rocking feel. And for the metal elitists who may decide to crawl out of their mother's basement and go to a Zombie show after hearing Educated Horses, those pretty things that you're likely to see are called girls. But don't try to talk to them because they won't talk to you.
